NOTICE: CHANGES IN SHIPPING


Due to a recent increase of missing packages, we are changing the delivery options for Residential packages shipping via UPS.

Unless specifically requested, ALL UPS Residential packages will ship with SIGNATURE REQUIRED.

The current policy of UPS for residential deliveries is that it is up to the driver’s discretion if a package is left at the delivery address with no signature. We are getting more and more reports of packages being left with no signature that are going missing.

As you may know, most of our products are sold out before shipping even begins, so replacing a lost sculpture is typically not an option. We’re trying to avoid the disappointment and frustration of a collector who does not receive the sculpture they have been waiting months for.

Bottom line, here is what you need to know…

The fee charged by UPS will be absorbed into our current existing shipping costs.

If you have already requested the signature delivery option/fee on an upcoming item, the fee will not be charged to your account.
Credits will be issued for pre-orders that have already been paid with check or money order.

Be sure that you read your UPS tracking emails.

It’s always recommended to know when your package is scheduled to deliver.
When a delivery attempt is made, the driver should leave an InfoNotice at your residence. For more information about the UPS InfoNotice: http://www.ups.com/content/us/en/resources/service/infonotice.html
Three attempts will be made by UPS before the package is returned to Bowen Designs.
The return of packages will result in additional shipping costs charged by UPS.

If you want to change your delivery address, please contact us via email at sales@bowendesigns.com by April 25, 2013.

Include your full name, verify the current address, and provide the new delivery address.
Commercial addresses are preferred; UPS is always required to get a signature for a commercial delivery.

If you want to OPT OUT of this service, please be aware that you are accepting the risk if a delivered package goes missing. Please contact us by April 25, 2013

Bowen Designs will likely be unable to replace the item for you.
